How to Survive a Plague
Protest- an expression or declaration of objection, disapproval, or dissent, often in opposition to something a person is powerless to preventor avoid. What makes an effective protest is open minded individuals, a strong argument, opinions, and credible facts. Groups of people usually use protests to have more support and to make sure that their voice's are heard. It's hard to do something like that alone, it's better when you have more people by you side to help, when that is done more people are willing to listen. Two voice's are better than one. From watching the documentary I truly don't think at that time the AIDS activists could have done anymore than what they did then to get what they wanted and needed. At that time many people that didn't have AIDS just didn't care about others who did, you had to fight for your life no one was there for you besides yourself and other who had the disease. They needed to protest as much as they did in hope of getting help from the government but sadly no one wanted to help. If you want something done do it yourself, you can't rely on anyone else especially if your life is on the line.
